Cecil Alvin Wilson, 77, passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2020 at St.Vincent’s Hospital. He was born on May 26, 1943 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Cecil spent most of his life in Ft. Lauderdale. He graduated from Stranahan high school and went on to attend college earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business. In 1995 he moved to Jacksonville, FL. after he and Linda were married. Cecil was tax accountant most of career having several other jobs in between but taxes was always his favorite. He has always been active in church and God was the center of his world. He truly enjoyed volunteering with Gleaners Dispatch the last several years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda, his children, Tony (Missy) Wilson, Terri (Jonathan) Gates, Debbie Bennett, Tammy (Wes) Justice and Tonya (David) Villalva, as well as his siblings – Marie (Henry) Mesarosh, Doug Wilson, Rick (Patti) Wilson, Patti (Greg) Clements. And his favorite people in the world are his grandchildren, Joshua, Phillip, Caleb, Christina, Maddie, RJ, Trevor, Todd, Alyssa, Dawson, Sara, and Taylor.
