Jimmie Lee Atkins, Sr., 54, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. Jimmie was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a loving Husband, Dad and Papa. He loved being with his family and friends, grilling, hot rods and mud bogs. There was no one he couldn’t talk to. If you were a friend, then you were considered family. He was predeceased by his Father Jimmie E Atkins and his grandparents.
Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Missy Atkins of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Jimmie (Shanna) Atkins Jr. of Bryceville, FL; Jason (Jessica) of Jacksonville, FL; His Mother Frances (Wayne) McKay of Jacksonville, FL; A brother Doug (Peggy) Atkins of Jacksonville, FL; Three grandchildren Bryar Lee, Baelyn River and Emmarie Laine; Several nieces, nephews and Friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00AM at Fraser Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Lane officiating. A visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00pm.
Internment will follow Saturday at Riverside Memorial Park.
