I know Robert from the Jax Woodworkers Club. Robert as a member always had a smile on his face, and always had something nice to say. At the woodworkers’ toy giveaway, Robert always provided a huge bag of crayons to go with the coloring book caddies we make for needy children. He and his smile and fun stories will always be missed.

Mr. Shaw was a wonderful man, an influential teacher, and a Christian. I was privileged to be a colleague of his at Thomas Jefferson Elementary. He taught me many things even though he was unaware. Watching him interact with students and adults, and see his caring, Christian approach to everything made a huge impact on me. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

We are so sorry for your loss. This world definitly lost a wonderful man who made this world a much better place. His laughter and smile will always be vividly in my memory, especially when he and dad got together and leaned back in their recliners and talked about who knows what. I pray that all of you find comfort in the wonderful memories that you have, and in that he is no longer in pain. One day, we will all be together again. Please know you are in our prayers during this difficult time.
