Joshua (Josh) Allen Ives passed away September 9th at the age of 58. Josh was born February 7, 1962 in New Haven, Connecticut to Herbert Ives Jr and Bette Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 32 years Rebecca Ives. He was a fan of golf, fishing, football, and nascar. He was a jack of all trades having worked nearly every job from painter, cook, carnival worker, cabinet/window installer, and glass bottle inspector. He never knew a stranger and always tried to make people smile. He was a hard worker, good man, and a great father. He is survived by his brothers Steve and Phil, sisters Carol and Cindy; many nieces and nephews; daughter Jessica, son in law Joseph, and granddaughter Layla. Memorial services will be held, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
