Robin Renee (Taylor) Halifko, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 20, 2021 after fighting a very hard and brave battle with Lymphoma and Covid. She was born April 21, 1965, and attended Robert E. Lee High School followed by Florida State College. She was retired after being employed 32 years at Florida State College at Jacksonville where she made many great friends. Robin was preceded in death by her mother (Jean Eason) and sister (Tammy Miller). She is survived by her husband Chris, her 2 sons Matt & Zach (Carissa). Father (Gerald Taylor), Step father (Gordon Eason) Sister (Beth), sister-in-law Sandy (JJ), and brothers-in-law Joe (Lucille) and Michael. Grandchildren Harper, Hendrick, & Rose. Nieces and nephews Scott (Karen), Kirsten, Rhyan (Kathy), Andrew (Emily), Dawn, Christian, and Cameron. And also, great nieces and nephews. Robin loved her family fiercely and was so proud of her children. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she spent every moment possible with them. Robin’s love for her husband, Chris, was a love like no other. They were by each other’s side in all aspects of life. Robin was a charismatic, fun loving woman. She never met a stranger. She had a heart made of gold and was always to first to offer her help. Robin was a huge presence whenever she was around and will be truly missed by those that love her.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, March 26, 20201 at 10:00am in Old Plank Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220 with Rev. Larry McGinley officiating followed by interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221. The family will receive friends at Old Blank Baptist Church on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
