It is with heavy hearts we share with you the death of Carol Lassiter Newman Dowling on August 4, 2021 at the age of 94.
Carol was born November 26, 1926. She loved her home and was known for her green thumb and her love of flowers. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Freda and Levi Lassiter and her husband Otto Newman. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Bradford, Susie Crawford (Charles) and Dennis Dowling. Also, her grandchildren, Eric Bradford (Vivian), Ashley Powell (Kane), Jeannie Driggers (Chris), Alan Crawford (Amy) and great grandchildren, Emily, Mikal, Cooper and Evan.
A graveside service will be held at Hardage Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7742 Normandy Blvd on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Carolyn, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was so lucky to have such a devoted daughter. She loved you with all her heart. I do believe she had such a long life because she could count on you! Im so glad she is at peace & we know is with our Lord & Savior. Love, Dot
