Ronald Coleman winged his final flight towards his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on January 7, 2022.
Fraser Funeral home is providing the local service, with a visitation on 1/14/2022 at 11:30 am- 12:30 pm at Fraser Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Harold Hudson & Ralph Coleman will provide the Eulogy.
He loved aviation, proud of his service in the U.S. Army and the Lord’s Army. He was a loving and faithful husband to his wife of 71 years, Frances.
He was born in Waycros, Georgia July 26, 1931, son of Rufus & Thelma Coleman, moving to Jacksonville in 1937 with his brothers Raymond & Ralph.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Ralph and sister in law Alice and niece Kathy Coleman. He is survived by his wife Frances, brother Raymond (LaVerne) and nephews Ray (Glennis) & Ralph Jr. (Patti) plus 4 great nephews & 2 great great nephews and 3 great great nieces.
Ronald managed several large warehousing complexes before owning an Associate Western Auto Store in Lake Butler. In 1981, he purchased Automotive Block Welders, retiring in 1988.
He and Wife Frances built a home in N.E. Georgia Mountains, moving to their custom built home in 1999. They enjoyed their life in their new community. A Gator enjoyng life above Athens.
