Joseph Tillman (J.T.) Cothern Sr. passed away on January 19, 2022. He was 75 years old.
He was born to parents Oliver and Nolie Cothern, on September 14, 1946, in Alma, GA, who preceded him in death.
He was married to Joyce, the love of his life, for 53 years, who survives him. J.T. is also survived by son, Joe (Tabatha), grandson, Caleb, brother, Denny (Denise) and sisters, Joyce Jones (Albert), and Jeanette Taylor (Glenn) and many other family and friends.
He loved fishing and collecting John Deere tractors. J.T. was a devout Christian who loved the Lord with all his heart and lived the life of a Christian every day. He attended the Sorrento Church of God.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Clay Hill Church Of God 5075 CR 218 Middleburg, Fl 32068 , 11:00am with Rev. Joe Cothern, Rev. Michael Wilson, and Rev. Jeff Crawley officiating, followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
