Theresa (Terri) Delanie Yawn, 66 of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022 in Fort Myers, FL after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born in Cochise, AZ. to Johnny and Yetie Sanders and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Terri was the oldest of five children and the loving mother of her daughter Misty. Terri graduated from Paxon Senior High School in 1974. She had a love for antiques, yard sales, crafts, and gardening, often finding pieces of antiques to decorate her home. She is survived by her daughter Misty Geren (Kevin), granddaughter Kristen Cooley, great grandson Waylon Bennett. She is also survived by her sisters Rhonda Bagby Sanders, Angela Creamer (Ronnie), and Tammy Dumm (Rick). She is survived by her brother Steve Sanders (Hester), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Terri was preceded in death by her father Johnny Sanders and her mother Yetie Sanders.
Visitation will be held at Fraser Funeral Home Chapel 8168 Normandy Blvd. 32221 on Friday February 4th, 2022. Family and friends are welcome from 6 pm – 8 pm. Her funeral will be held at Fraser Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 5th, 2022 at 2 pm. Graveside Service will take place at Riverside Memorial Park 7242 Normandy Blvd. 32205 on Sunday February 6th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Florida Cancer Specialists in Terri’s name.
