Bruce Gordon Royal, 74, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday, January 27, 1947, at St. Vincent’s Riverside Ascension Health.
Bruce was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, born at NAS Jacksonville Yukon, Florida, April 27, 1947. A member of the Jacksonville Florida Civil Air Patrol at Craig Field and a Vietnam Veteran – U. S. Air Force Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, TX.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Anderson Royal, his mother, Dorothy Regina (Carter) Royal, his sister, Rae Anita (Royal) McClendon, and his son, Paul Elder “Dexter” Royal.
Bruce is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy (Hill Hall) Royal, step-daughter Natalie (Dan) Pine, grandchildren Cory, Caydee, Casey, Tori Alexis, Danny and Nathan of Cicero, NY; step-son Daniel (Kim Murray) Hall of Middleburg, FL, brother-in-law David Joe (Sandi) Oliver-TN, sister-in-law Sandra (Alan) Pelt-OK, brother-in-law Ray Dean (Cheryl deceased) Young-OK, brother-in-law Tabor K. (Renee) Hill-FL, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins in his large extended family, as well as many dear friends.
