PawPaw an I went to the Daytona 500 one year, jus he an i. It was the dual races where they go around the track in opposite direction but it was still a race for drivers to qualify which made them still important an he wanted to always see that. It was an amazing day but on our way back home I was kidding around an acting like Mark Martin one of his favorite NASCAR drivers at that time an a State Trooper pulled me over. PawPaw tried so nicely to talk that trooper into not giving Mark Martin a speeding ticket because we were on our way back from Daytona. The Trooper looked down at my license an then said “excuse me Who?” I said No really my name is Cain but I was acting like a NASCAR driver. As trooper walked back to car with my license PawPaw said” yep, you are definitely getting a ticket if he doesn’t even know who Mark Martin is” PawPaw was correct an I was given a speeding ticket. Looking on it that day & looking on it again now, it was totally worth it. PawPaw wasn’t just my PawPaw-N-Law, he was my friend. Love ya always, Cain
