Matthew J. Parmele passed peacefully at home 3/31/2022 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Born 11/12/1973 to parents James and Patricia Parmele. Father predeceased in 2007.
Matt graduated Terry Parker High School and Jacksonville Community College. His occupation of mechanic entailed several dealerships, later foreman with the City of Jacksonville Motor Pool, and eventually an instructor at Jones Technical College. His love for cars found him always building, fixing, and even racing on occasions.
Surviving is Wife Tiegra (Harding) Parmele daughter Kairi Marie Parmele, Mother Patricia Parmele (N.Y.) brother Chris Parmele (Monica) (N.C.) nephew Aaron Parmele (N.C) an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, many lifelong friends and the remainder of ” The Fat Boys Club”!
Family has private Funeral Services pending at a later date.
