SUSAN MAY MOKRY, MAY 11, 1957 – APRIL 8, 2022
Susan May Mokry was laid to rest on April 13, 2022, in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida after a brief illness. Susan was an honored United States Air Force veteran having served as an aircraft mechanic in Japan, Okinawa, the Philippines, and numerous stateside bases. Susan is a charter member of the Military Women’s Memorial located in Arlington National Cemetery.
Susan led a versatile career in the scientific, environmental science, engineering, pharmacy, and service sectors, and achieved her goal of becoming a pilot. Susan was also a dedicated senior associate with Beall’s for 16 years. Susan is survived by her mother, Norma Mokry, of Wakefield, Massachusetts, sisters Patricia Kendra of Bedford, Massachusetts and Annette Mokry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, nephew Paul Kendra of Wilmington, North Carolina, brother-in-law Andrew Kendra, and longtime
life partner Patricia Howell of Jacksonville, Florida.
We miss our beloved Susie terribly and always remember her kindness, generosity, playful spirit, and zest for life, love, and family. Susie is a passionate advocate for veterans’ causes and her wish is to show support in all ways possible.
