Joseph Abraham Hand

July 16, 1996~May 12, 2022

Joseph Abraham Hand, 25, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2022.

Joseph was born July 16, 1996, to Rebecca and Robert Hand Jr. He attended Jefferson Davis Middle School and Temple Christian Academy. He worked as a Landscape Specialist with Landscape Consultants Inc.

Joseph’s greatest accomplishment was becoming a father and he loved his daughter, Alaina, more than anything.

Joseph had a heart of gold and was a fierce protector of his mom, sister, and the people he loved. A big kid at heart, “Uncle Jo-Jo” loved and was adored by his nephews. Joseph loved his Jordans, and his gear was red, black or none at all. His enormous sense of humor was infectious. He was quite the comedian and he never passed up an opportunity to make people laugh. With an unapologetic swag, Joseph lived his life to the fullest. He was blessed with God given musical talents and played both the drums and guitar. He was a thrill-seeker and absolutely loved an adrenaline rush. He left this earth full throttle, wide open, riding hard as he loved. You could often find him (if you could catch him) riding motorcycles or attending car meets. “Ace Jojo” loved a good turn up and could always be counted on to attend frequent safety meetings, with or without company.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hand Jr. and his paternal grandparents Robert and Annie Hand Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Alaina Janae Hand; his mother, Rebecca Cardona; his sister, Whitney Hand; his maternal grandparents, Charles, and Diane Carter; his nephews Colby, Silas, Walker, and Declan; his aunt, Kimberly Harrison; his uncles, Derrick Carter and Michael Hand; a host of cousins and an extended family of brothers and sisters from another mister that were his closest friends.

A service to celebrate Joseph’s life will be held at Fraser Funeral Home 8168 Normandy Blvd. 32221.
Visitation 6-8:00 pm on 5/21/2022, followed by a Service 3:00pm on 5/22/2022

God knew what he was doing when he created you Jo because not only did you make positive impacts on a lot of people during your beautiful journey through life, you also made an impact on mine because we could always talk to each other about anything and the fact that no matter the situation you would always keep it real to anyone you surrounded yourself around and I respected you for that. You was always the life of the party that kept a smile on your face that lit up a dark room despite what you was going through and that will always be an inspiration in all of our lives. I love and miss you my brother until we meet again fly high❤️🖤🙏🏾🕊
