Ronald Michael Foley, age 72, passed away, September 29, 2022. Ronald was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 28, 1950 to the parents of Luther B. Foley and Irene Reynolds Foley. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and Moose Four Townes Lodge #655.

Ronald served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer. After he was discharged from the Army, he worked for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and retired after 30 years. After retiring for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, he moved to St. Augustine when his wife Juanita got a job with the St. Augustine Record. They relocated to Palm Coast and shortly after, they moved to Deltona in 2002. Ronald went back to work as a Security Guard for John Knox Village, a senior living community in Orange City for ten years and never missed a day of work.

They loved Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where they had a time share every year for the last 15 years. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Irene Foley, and a brother, David Steven Foley.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Juanita Foley; his three daughters; Dr. Christine Hyon Foley, DDS and her husband, Dr. Oliver S. Villaruel DDS of Garland, Texas, Traci Ann Foley, and Jami Paige Foley of Jacksonville, Florida and a brother, Luther Bernard Foley, Jr, of Mt. Vernon, Washington, his sister, Mary Jane Satterfield and brother in law George Satterfield of Germantown, Tennessee. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Noah and Nathan Villaruel, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held, Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL with US Army Honors and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Honors.

The family will receive friends at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 from 2:00 – 3:00PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
