Tammy G Scofield

November 08, 1960~March 06, 2023

Tammy Scofield, age 62, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on March 6, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on November 18, 1960, to her late mother, Mildred and father, Elmer. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ann Woodard(Dave).

Tammy was a devoted mother to her three children, Joey(Clara), Kristen(Mark), and Brandon, and a loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Gabby, Lily, Aleah, Cristiano, JJ, Natalie, Evanna, Giovanni, and Bella. She was married to her late husband, Phillip Scofield, who she loved deeply.

Tammy graduated from Victory Christian Academy and worked for Prudential for forty years before retiring. While she took great pride in her career, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Tammy’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

Tammy’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she loved Jesus with all of her heart. Her love for God was evident in everything she did, and she was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Tammy is survived by her brothers, Edwin Garrison(Janice) and John Michael Garrison, her children, grandchildren, and other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love, kindness, and compassion will never be forgotten.

A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at Fraser Funeral Home on March 11th. Rest in peace, Tammy. Your legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.

I am so sorry to hear this! I remember Tammy and her family from my childhood. We were all in the same church, Lake Forest Baptist. Her parents were wonderful, and raised their children to love the Lord. Her Mom worked with my Mom in the pre-school at our church. A wonderful family that I remember from my childhood! My prayers are with her family and friends.🙏💗🙏
