Having lived in Jacksonville for over 30 years, one of the greatest friendships that we made was that of Robert & Carol Lightfoot. Whether it was at a church event, a home education happening or an estate sale, Robert was consistent in kindness, in his great love for his wife, kids and grandkids and especially consistent in his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was generous, insightful in current events and in the Word of God and interested in others. His care and knowledge of animals was common knowledge and was on display at Herschel Animal Clinic.
To Carol and the kids, I pray that you’d each be held in the arms of Jesus, blanketed by the peace of Holy Spirit and resting in the knowledge that our future is eternal through Jesus’ Blood and we will see your precious husband and dad again.
