Mrs. Carver was like a Mom to me & to so many others. I grew up around the Carver family & they all mean so much to me. Mrs. Carver always made me feel welcome in her house & she always had a smile on her face. I loved to just sit & talk to her. I remember playing many, many, many rounds of Skip-bo with her. I actually enjoyed it. Later, when I had kids of my own, she embraced them as if they were her own grandchildren. I have a fond memory of her sitting on Angie’s kitchen floor and hand-feeding my two toddlers. They just sat there like little birds patiently waiting for the next bite. No way would they have ever done that for me. She had a special connection with kids. She always did for others & you just knew it was from the kindness of her heart…..she never expected to be re-paid. I’m sorry for the loss of such a special person. She will be missed. This terrible Covid is keeping me from attending her service but I will be thinking of all of you. Love, Stephanie
