Dan Ellis Webster, age 61, died peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on January 25th, 2022.
Dan was born on July 4th, 1960, in Jackson, MI to Bernard Webster and Dorothy (Hastings).
Dan is survived by his brother Paul Robinson, sister Denise Schaffter (Duane), brother Denny Webster, sister Lesa Webster, brother-in-law Charlie Brill, numerous nieces and nephews as well as several close friends.
Dan was proceeded in death by both his parents and brother John Webster.
He worked at Southeast Toyota in various departments, lastly being a QA Inspector.
Dan, along with his siblings, was nicknamed one of the “Gusky Kids”. After graduating High School in MI, he moved to Jacksonville, FL where he resided until his death. Dan was adored by his family, friends, neighborhood, and coworkers. He was a very generous man always taking care of others even when he needed taken care of himself. He was a selfless man with a big heart.
When in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with friends at local hangouts, scratching lotto tickets, collecting Waterford crystal, and doing yard work.
Family and friends are invited to attend viewing services on Saturday February 5th from 5pm to 8pm at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Burial services will be on Sunday February 6th at 2pm at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221.

It has taken me a long time to post this. Dab you were my best friend. I miss you so much. I know you know that. You and I was always their for each other. More than our family was. We always had a strong connection. I miss you. I call your phone just to hear your voice. Thanks for being a best friend. Love you always.

We send prayers to all of his family and friends. He fought so hard for so long to beat cancer!! He decided to do it “his way” and that is why he was with us for longer. His strength and bravery was phenomenal! We will miss him so much!
