Florence Irene “Peggy” Vorpe, age 85, passed away, Saturday, July, 11, 2020. Peggy was born on July 13, 1934 in Lake Park, GA and a lifetime member of Gardenview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Henry Arthur Vorpe, a son, Bruce E. Vorpe and a daughter, Teresia Vorpe Gonzalez. She is survived by her son, Henry Arthur Vorpe, Jr (Ora), and her six grandchildren, Robbie, Tiffany, Christi, Glenda, Dustin and Corey, 10 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00am in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 with Pastor Jason Reid officiating.
