Harry Eugene Busbee passed away on January 7, 2023. Born December 17, 1932, he was a Jacksonville native, living primarily on the westside. He attended Thomas Jefferson School and Lee High School. Harry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He served in the army during the Korean Conflict. After returning, he went to work at NAS Jacksonville at NARF/NADEP. He retired on December 23, 1989 after 34 years of service. During his retirement, he served as an usher for the Jacksonville Suns, and as a life-long Florida Gator fan, he enjoyed going to both football and basketball games. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for most of his life. He is predeceased by his father and mother, John Sr. and Gladys Busbee, brothers John Jr (Buddy), Marcus, James and Carl (Teeter) and sisters Jewel Heck, Betty (Susie) Lamb, Stella Ford, and Clara (Tooter) Payne. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Beulahvieve, daughter and son-in-law Lori and Terry Kneeburg, granddaughter, Rachel, grandson Andrew (Angela) Kneeburg, bonus great-granddaughter Faith and sisters Doris (Dodie) Busbee and Helen Hession, brother-in-law Fred Ford and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 11th from 4:30 – 7:00 pm at Fraser Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service Thursday, January 12th at 11:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park on Normandy Blvd.
