Joseph Eugene Tarr, III, age 65, passed away August 6, 2021. Joseph was born on April 9, 1956 in Lakewood, New Jersey to the parents of Joseph and Carolyn Tarr. Joe moved from Chicago, Illinois to Jacksonville, Florida 44 years ago and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Joe had also been an avid bowler with several 300 games to his credit as well as being a life-long Green Bay Packers fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Gallinati and Debra Stepina (Timothy); 7 nieces and nephews, 12 grand and 3 great-grand nieces and nephews
As Joe was a an avid supporter of veterans and veteran causes, the family asks that in lieu of a service and flowers, and per his wishes, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project (link: https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/Default.aspx?tsid=10043 ) or any other veteran service organization be made in his honor.

Joe was a good man. He taught me much about clocks, and it is my privilege to carry The Clockworks forward. I will.miss him, and the wisdom and knowledge of clocks that he had.
