Judith “Judy” Gunter, 73, went home to be the Lord on October 18, 2022. A native of Dinsmore, FL she is remembered fondly by many for working in the family business, Steve’s Grocery. She was a founding member of the Lifeline Church where she spent many years passionately serving in various capacities alongside her husband, Gordon, who was the pastor for 20 years. She loved the church deeply and the people in it. She spent most of her life caring for others.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Sara Gunter, and granddaughter, Juliet, who was her pride and joy. Her niece Stefanie (Will) and their children, whom she loved. She also had many other family and friends that she held close to her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve & Lettie Bruno, Husband Gordon, and Sister Linda among many other family members. She was loved, cherished, and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
