June Elaine Brown Burke, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. June was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. June dedicated her life to her beloved husband of 55 years and raising their three daughters. She is survived by her husband, James Burke, one sister, Helen Jones (Gregory), daughters, Susan Barber (Mark), Jennifer Sweat (Stuart), and Kathryn Clark (Andrew). June is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Amy (Michael), Robyn, Lauren, Michael, Rebecca, Colton, Baby Clark, and one great-grandchild, Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Kathleen Brown. June also leaves behind many family members and loved ones including nieces, nephews’ cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Old Plank Road Baptist Church with Brother Larry McGinley officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to services.
