Kristina Diane Tiencken “Kristy”, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021 at the age of 46. She was a graduate of Edward H White, class of 1992. She went on to obtain her medical assistant degree and worked in the medical field for 29 years. Survivors include her partner, Robert; her father, James Sr; her daughter, Kayla; son, Alexander; two brothers, Robert (Debbie) and James Jr (Denise); two sisters, Katherine and Kelley (Steve); two grandchildren, Adalynne and A’dan; multiple nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; two sisters, Vicky and Trudy; her brother-in-law, Maurice; and her granddaughter, Emerald.
Kristy was a beloved mother, she devoted her life to her special needs son Alex, as well as her daughter and best friend, Kayla. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life. She was the ultimate Disney Queen, making Disney her home away from home. Kristy, her kids, and her grandkids made millions of memories over the years at Disney and nothing brought her more joy than seeing all her babies live their best Disney life.
Kristy was also passionate about helping people. She always put those she cared about above herself while never complaining about it. This is what led her to a career of helping others. After working in a clinical setting for 20 years, she joined OCCM, where she spent the last 9 years putting her patients first. She would help any co-worker who needed her and never shied away from a challenge.
Kristy was always smiling, joking around, and cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs. She had a big heart and was a shining light to everyone she met. There are no words that can express how amazing of a woman she was. Her loss will be tremendously felt to everyone who knew her, but we all hope to continue spreading her love and light into the world
