Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Bunton Roling went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 after an extended illness. She was born February 13, 1935 in Florence S.C. Her parents were Atlie (Hutchinson) Dennis and Clyde Allen Dennis. She was one of nine children.
She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Alice, Clida and Sybil. Brothers Wilbur, Jimmy and Everett. She was also predeceased by Grandson Bryan.
She leaves to mourn, her two sons, Edward (Sharon) and Michael (Pat), three stepsons, Harry Roling, Allen Roling and David Roling. Four Grandchildren, Daniel and Thomas Bunton, Greg (Susan) Long and Darrell (Kim). Two sisters, Margret Woodring (Bob) and Eula Mae Koperna (Andy- deceased).
Elizabeth was an active member at First Baptist Church of Maxville. She loved her church family.
She spent her early life on the farm in South Carolina and moved to Jacksonville in the late fifties where she met and married her first husband Charles Bunton. She worked and retired from Independent Parts Warehouse where she met her second husband Harold.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16th, from 11:00 till 12:00, at the Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Boulevard. Graveside Services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 North Main Street.

This is how I remember Aunt Liz. She was a happy gal. She was tough to get any mischief by and would keep me and Michael in line. Couldn’t get anything by her. Sure miss those days!
