Melissa “Lisa” Jan Bailey, age 58, of Jacksonville, Florida went to her Heavenly Home on September 9th, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born October 11th, 1962 to Dwayne Lewis and the late Dola LaRue Cupp. She was a lifelong resident of Duval County and a longtime member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Jacksonville. Lisa was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved making home cooked meals for her family.

Lisa is survived by her daughter Melissia Marie Rodriguez and son Charles Gene Bailey III, both of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Emory Rodriguez, Emma Rodriguez, Eva Rodriguez, Eden Rodriguez, Ember Rodriguez, Eme Rodriguez and great grandson Carter Rodriguez, along with 6 sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service of Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the First United Pentecostal Church, 11697 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221, with Pastor John Hopkins III officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32221
