Noretta Clarice Dukes George Smith

November 24, 1925~August 28, 2021

Noretta Clarice Dukes George Smith passed away on Saturday, August 28. Noretta was born on November 24, 1925, in Fort White, Florida Columbia County along with her twin sister, Ovedia. She was married to Simon Maurice George, and later, Raymond Carl Smith. She put on a valiant battle to live. She was born from humble beginnings. The daughter of sharecroppers. The last of her 9 siblings. She believed in God and followed the scriptures. A great cook. So many more things could say about her. I believe that she would consider her most important contribution in life was the loving bond with ALL her family. Survived by her daughter, Patsy Bryant. Grandson JimmyBryant, granddaughter Erika Bryant Nace (Chuck). As well as her great granddaughters, Brittany Woodworth (Woody) and Autumn Nace. Great, great granddaughters, Sierra and Skiilar Newsome and Lucy Woodworth. Along with, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands Maurice George and Ray Smith. Sisters, Ovedia Brinson DorrieWildes, Doris Lawrence, Irma Shronce and Audrey Damato. Brothers, Roger, Zedra, Ressie and JB Dukes.
