Ralph Thomas Morgan Sr., age 90 of Middleburg, Florida passed away November 17, 2020. He is survived by his Son, Daniel Byron Morgan; Daughter in laws, Teresa Morgan and Anna Morgan; Grandsons, Jeremy Morgan and Daniel Morgan Jr (Gina); Brother, George Morgan; Sister, Lucille Bergstrom; 5 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Ralph was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Vera Boone Morgan, son Ralph T Morgan Jr., mother Ida Mae Tillis, Father Jesse Walter Morgan, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Ralph was born in Gainesville Florida where he resided before moving to Jacksonville Florida at the age of 16. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. Ralph spent most of his career in the Carpenters Local 627 and retired in 1992 from Acousti Engineering Company. He was an active member of the Clay County Shriners for many years and a member of Kingsley Lake Baptist Church. Ralph loved Nascar, fishing and sharing his life stories. He loved his family and was very proud of the life he had made for himself and his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 9:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park. 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville Florida with Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez officiating. In lieu of flowers please donate to Community Hospice in Ralph Morgan’s memory.
