Mr. Robert “Allen” Henry, 62, entered heavens Gate on Sunday September 12, 2021, after a 3 year battle with lung cancer. Allen was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville. He attended Duval County schools as well as Nathan B forrest High school. Most of his life he worked as a brick mason and in his last 15 years he worked at Jacksonville Equestrian Center. Allen is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Terry Fawbush -Henry, who passed away July 30, 2021. Also preceded by his parents, Mrs. Stella Jo Henry-Johnson and Mr. John T. Henry, his brothers, john and Gerald. He also leaves behind his two sons. Jason and Shane: brothers, Gene (Ellie), David (Smiley) and Steve (Cathy) Henry. Many nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to list. Many dear friends that he entrusted. Allen enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers. Allen was just an all-around good man. Never knew a stranger and would help with anyone that needed it. In the past few months, Allen became a Christian, along with his wife. That was one thing he wanted to be sure of before he left this world. He wanted to be sure he and Terry would walk the streets of Heavens Gates together.
