A Celebration of Life for Stanley “Stan” E. McCargo will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida. Services will be officiated by Dr. David Beauchamp. Interment following at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida.
Stan passed away at the age of 76 on May 25, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carla Rae, daughter Tara LaRae Owen, 2 grandchildren Jordan LaRae and Jackson Desmond and a brother, Phillip Ray McCargo, Sr. (Janet). He is also survived by a beloved aunt, uncle, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray S. and Jerlean F. McCargo.
As a native of Jacksonville, he graduated from Paxon Sr. High School and the University of North Florida. He also served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Carla, I am so sorry for your loss. We haven’t been close to you and Stan for quite a few years, but I will never forget our cruise to Hawaii. All the golf trips we had together with Ron Hipp, and our spouses coming to Hilton Head to meet us and spend a few nights of fellowship.
