Teresa Marie Brown

August 15, 1966~November 03, 2021

“Our wonderful Teresa Marie Brown went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2021.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved parents Emilio and Edna Mae DeGuzman, and father-in-law, Gary Brown.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Jason, daughter, Charlotte Mae,
brothers, Ron (wife, Debra) Dennis (Jodie) and Benny (Barbara) DeGuzman,
Tony (Suzanne) and Clayton (Michelle) Lazar, and Allan Smith (Nina),
sisters, Lorrie Moses (John) and Anita Jones (Scott); mother-in-law, Donna Brown, and numerous, cherished nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
Teresa’s beautiful smile and presence will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a kind, gentle, fierce, loving, loyal, sweet woman of God. She was never happier than when being surrounded by family. Our hearts are broken but we rest in the knowledge and hope that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that we will see her again when He calls us home.
We will be celebrating Teresa’s life this Saturday, November 13th, at 10 AM, at Calvary Worship Center (3266 Southside Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216). Everyone is welcome to come celebrate our sweet Teresa.”

Teresa never saw herself as the beautiful person we all knew and loved. She just had such a loving and generous heart and she gave of herself with ease and grace. She is a beautiful soul. Jason and Charlotte will remain in my prayers

I didn’t really get to know Teresa until 2018/2019 even though we worked for the same company for years. Working on special projects with her, I was struck by the compassionate and caring side of her. There was never a question of her big faith and love of her family. I will forever regret not keeping in touch with her better, but will strive to follow her lead moving forward. Loving generously and exuding positivity was her outlook. Heaven has certainly gained a very special angel!

Teresa was such a caring person with a bright shining personality. She absolutely loved my kids and enjoyed holding and playing with my youngest. I’m so thankful we were able to know her even though it was only for a few years. She will be in our hearts forever. We’re praying for the family.

My precious daughter-in-law who I loved so much and who took such good care of my son, I will miss you in so many ways. The thought of you not being here is beyond what I think I can bear, but I know you are no longer struggling and that gives me comfort. I love you
