Bobbie peacefully passed away early Wednesday morning while under the care of Community Hospice. She was married to Bud for 67 years before he went to be with the Lord in September 2020. Bobbie was a faithful Christian who was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church for 65 years. She worked at Lerner Shops for 23 years and cooked at the church on Wednesdays for more than 20 years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Bobbie always made sure that people knew God and of the everlasting life you can live in Heaven once you ask Him into your hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we rest assured knowing she is in the arms of our Savior.
The family will accept visitors at Cedar Creek Baptist Church on Friday, May 27th at 6:00 pm. Services will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm. Bobbie will be interred in The National Cemetery in Jacksonville at a later date. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to Community Hospice or Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Bobbie’s name. They have been a tremendous blessing to the family when caring for both Bobbie and Bud.
